Welcome to the Kindergarten Cathedral School website! I am Teresa Cymbaluk, the Kindergarten Teacher at Cathedral School.
Starting from the first steps of a formal education, in kindergarten, I focus on a Christ centered education, putting Christ first in our lives and doing all we do for Jesus. Our Kindergarten Program is an all day, every day program which develops the 5-6 year old needs socially, emotionally, academically, physically and spiritually in an environment that promotes the love of Jesus, the love of learning and the uniqueness of each child.
I ask that you, as parents, assist me in your child’s first year of formal education by reading daily with and to your child. This is one of the most important things you can do to make your child a successful reader. Look for notes, papers and projects to come home daily and talk about them with your child. Reinforce what we are learning at school by doing the suggested activities in the family notes and home connection notes. With your involvement and participation your child will soon be on their way to a successful year of learning and loving Jesus!
