Welcome to Fourth Grade,
I am happy to be your teacher and I am excited that you are in my classroom! I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work with you. I am looking forward to a fun-filled and hands-on learning-centered year!
I hope we have a great year, one that helps us to grow in our faith, studies and have fun at the same time. The beginning of the year will be seeing our friends, participating in Mass, completing escape rooms and learning how to paint. These are just a few of the cool things we will do.
In order to be a successful 4th Grader, it is important to read; that’s why we have monthly book projects. 4th Graders MUST KNOW their basic facts: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division! Please practice basic facts at least twice a week; it really does make a difference.
PARENTS: Every day your child will bring home an Assignment Book, where he/she will write down any work that was not completed in school. This will tell you what your child needs to work on. Each Friday your child will bring home a School Communication Folder with all of your child’s work for that week and a weekly progress report.
If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or concerns please feel free to contact me at school 281-1835 or e-mail me firstname.lastname@example.org.
